Leslie (Lee) J. Racine has focused his entire career in Real Estate.

Mr.. Racine started his career in real estate, working with the Taxation Department for the County of Ramsey in Minnesota. Mr. Racine’s backgrounds led him to the request by the Cities of Cottage Grove and St. Paul Park, Minnesota to be their Department Head in Tax Valuation. Mr. Racine was in charge of an excess of 12,000 real estate parcels for valuation. Mr. Racine’s staff handled the residential properties, while his responsibility was in the Commercial and Vacant Land Development areas. Following this, Mr. Racine started a successful Real Estate Appraisal Company and later merged with a larger Appraisal Company in Minneapolis. Besides training and managing within the company, Mr. Racine led the Commercial Valuation Division. During this time Mr. Racine also taught Real Estate classes for Inver Hills College, University of Minnesota, Appraisal Institute, and Taxation Departments of Dakota, Ramsey, and Washington Counties.

Mr. Racine’s Mission Statement consists of bringing to his clients, in today’s ever-changing volatile market, the due diligence to assist them in reaching their goals. Mr. Racine’s passion is to assist and represent his clients in the most supportable real estate transactions, whether the involvement is in acquisition or disposition of real property. Many complex obstacles during a real estate transaction can leave one feeling disheartened. Throughout the process, Mr. Racine’s knowledge of real estate, economics, accounting & finance, and management helps the transaction to be successfully accomplished. Mr. Racine acts as a mediator and liaison between both parties in case of disputes and helps to sorts out the issues.

Mr. Racine’s mission is driven by his gift of helping to assist non-profits in leasing, acquisitions, or dispositions of their properties. This may involve creative financing, consulting in seeking one-time givers, fund raisers, capital campaigns, etc. Mr. Racine also has a passion for Restaurants and Hospitality Facilities, which again offer a challenge in the market for financing and operations. This area involves many major facets, from real estate, personal property, equipment, fixtures, inventory, and on-going business concerns such as signage, recipes, and even employee retention as well as negotiating a transition period from seller to buyer.

Mr. Racine accepts these challenges and is motivated in assisting each of his clients in their needs and educating each party to successfully achieve their goal.
